Outdoor Bars Made of Ice
The newest outdoor bar, located at the Ritz- Carlton Club's Willow Creek Bistro at Aspen Highlands, is literally made out of ice.  Depending on how long the cold weather lasts, it may remain for at least two months.  The Hotel Jerome in Aspen is also planning on installing an ice bar in the Hotel's courtyard this January.

New Grocery Store in Aspen

New Grocery Store in Aspen
Roxy's, Aspen’s newest grocery store, is now open at the Aspen Airport Business Center.  It’s located in the building previously occupied by Alpine Mountain Market. Instead of typical "roach coach" fare, Roxy's is offering healthier choices, like hot breakfast sandwiches and burritos, rotisserie chicken and deli sandwiches for lunch.  Roxanne and Mike Lawler, Roxy’s owners, also own markets in Telluride and Rangley.  Their goal is to carry as many local products as possible. They are working to develop relationships with local farmers, ranchers and food producers; Bagels by Basalt's Upper Crust, salad dressings by Cornucopia, flowers by Aspen Branch and other Aspen, Roaring Fork Valley and Western Slope items. The best news is that Roxy's price point is between Clark's Market and City Market in Aspen.
