Aspen Airport Ranks # 3 in the State for Economic Impact

In a recent study titled the 2008 Colorado Airports Impact Study, the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport brought in $1.1 billion into the local economy, ranking #3 out of 14 airports that offer commerical flights in Colorado.  Denver International, Colorado's flagship airport brought in $22.3 billion and #2 Colorado Springs generated $3.5 billion.  The study also states that those who fly directly into Aspen spend more money per person than those who fly into other airports around the state.  Add Comment
