The summer weather in Aspen starts around June or July when temperatures can reach 80’s during the day, although they are much cooler at night. The occasional afternoon summer showers also help cool things off, though they usually don’t last very long.

The weather and climate in Aspen during the winter months of December, January and February tends to be the coldest of the year, with temperatures typically in the 10’s and 20’s. Snowfall averages around 300 inches in the mountains, with significantly less falling in town.

Spring is typically snowy and unsettled, as the days grow gradually longer and warmer. Average temps run in the 40’s and 50’s during the day.
