Airlines Keep Colorado Skiers Up In The Air Over Schedules

August 24, 2010

Regional Airports are scrambling to confirm their flight scheudles as more and more airlines come and go and merge.  Frontier schocked Aspen several weeks ago when it announced that it was pulling out of Aspen only to reinstate it; Eagle County Regional Airport has had its third-best summer ever, but is facing a reduction in flights this winter, with the Delta-Northwest merger causing the end to nonstop service from Minneapolis/St. Paul and Detroit. American Airlines will add another flight to Eagle from Miami this winter.
