Woody Creek Portion Of Rio Grande Trail To Be Paved And Widened

The Pitkin County Open Space and Trails board approved the installation of a 110-foot-long bridge over the Woody Creek drainage next spring to improve the Rio Grande Trail. 2.5 miles of the Rio Grande Trail will be paved.  Both projects are estimated to cost $920,000.
