Aspen and Basalt Bears Sent To RehabFebruary 2, 2010
Nine orphaned bear cubs, eight from Aspen and one from Basalt, were delivered to the Schneegas Wildlife Foundation in Silt. The facility is a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation center, where the bear cubs are being taught to survive on their own in the wild, especially in winter.
