Counties With Ski Towns Top Income List

Pitkin County ranked number three in the country for highest per capita incomes, slightly below the top seat New York County and number two Teton County, Wyoming.  With only 15,000 full time residents in Pitkin County, the average per capita personal income level is $86,000; Whereas New York County's average personal income level is $110,000.  Several of the counties that made the top 100 per capita incomes have a ski resort within their boundries.
