Independence Pass to Open...Finally

After a near 2 week delay due to heavy amounts of snow from a record year, Independence Pass is scheduled to open Thursday.  Taking the pass from Denver rather than the traditional I-70 route provides a shorter and more scenic route for those travelling in and out of Aspen.   For more information on Independence Pass and the Aspen/Snowmass area visit www.independencepass.org or www.aspenchamber.org.
